Over the last fifteen (15) years I have been able to acquire a wealth of knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, customer service and business development. My employment history includes local and multinational companies in the cruise industry, advertising, tourism, hospitality and fast moving consumer goods. For the last ten (10) years I have honed my leadership abilities by serving in a number of senior management positions.
Additionally, I am a part-time lecturer at a local business college, and have been involved in developing corporate training programs since 2004. My workshops include subject matter areas such as consultative selling, customer care, business etiquette and negotiation skills. I was also able to build a clientele ranging from manufacturing entities to financial services companies. My objective is to help companies maximize their human capital in order to build strong and progressive organizations. Therefore, I am committed to the principles of best practice standards and transformational leadership.
My travels have led me to over forty seven (47) countries including the Caribbean, North America, South America, the Mediterranean, Europe, Africa, Australia, Russia and Norway. As a result, I am delighted to share my knowledge and experience through professional speaking and freelance writing. On the academic front, my qualifications include a Degree in Management and a Diploma in Public Relations, plus various certificates from continuous studies. In my spare time, whenever I can find some, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking and exploring nature.
